Women’s Business Network Awards Scholarships

Three Professional Women to Benefit

PROVO, Utah, July 6, 2017 – The Women’s Business Network (WBN) awarded its 2017 Scholarships to Sandy Cook, Stephanie Briggs, and Deana Mugimu recently in support of the organization’s goal to empower professional women.

Sandy Cook is a Business Management major attending Utah Valley University.

Stephanie Briggs is an Accounting Major attending Brigham Young University.

Deana Mugimu is an Information Systems major attending Brigham Young University. The three recipients each were awarded $1,500 for the upcoming university school year.

“Each year it is such a pleasure to award our scholarships to such deserving professional women,” said Amy Magelby, WBN President. “These women express the desire and drive necessary to be business leaders now and in the future among our community. We congratulate them on their accomplishments and their goals. We are grateful to help them complete their university business programs.”
