Franchise creates over 65 jobs in Orem; now searching for qualified candidates to join team.

OREM, UTAH (APRIL, 18 2017)—MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company, an authentic Neapolitan Pizza restaurant with a mission to bring friends together, will be creating around 65 jobs in Orem with their newest restaurant opening June 2017. They are currently accepting applications for a variety of roles, including fornaio (Italian Baker), dough stretcher, pizzaiolo (Pizza Maker), salad chef, concierge, barista, quality assurance, kitchen and dining room associates. MidiCi is thrilled to be uniting residents and visitors in Orem over high-quality, authentic Neapolitan pizza, as well as helping grow the local economy.

MidiCi serves traditional Neapolitan Pizza and made-to-order salads with natural, fresh, non-GMO ingredients. Guests can select from traditional and signature menu options or create personalized Neapolitan pizzas in an open kitchen fashion — also known as “the heart” — all baked to perfection.

Acclaimed Los Angeles-based Restaurateur and Executive Chef Peppe Miele along with Chef Mario Vollera, both from Naples, Italy,  and world-renowned Neapolitan pizza chefs, created the menu with authentic fresh offerings to ensure a real Neapolitan pizza experience — from artisan burrata to traditional Neapolitan pizzas.

MidiCi provides pizza aficionados with an upscale dining ambiance — designed by the acclaimed Los Angeles hotel- and restaurant-designer and architect Sam Marshall — while maintaining the affordability of casual dining. The space beckons guests to visit and celebrate memories over an exquisite meal next to a signature indoor live tree.

“We’re on the search for motivated, enthusiastic individuals who will bring an exceptional experience to all of our guests,” said local Orem Franchisee Adam Wills.

“We look forward to building a team of friends that can help, not only serve the most delicious and authentic Neapolitan Pizza, but have fun while also creating a genuine relationship with the local Orem community.”

“We have hired Craig ‘Gandy’ Gandolph, founder of Gandolfo’s Deli, to be our general manager,” Wills said. “Craig brings with him a love for the restaurant business that you won’t find anywhere else. His hands-on, fun approach makes working for him amazing. His ability to teach will help you gain a knowledge of this business you can’t find in a classroom setting.”

“We’re proud of the fact that when we open a new MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza location, we’re not just offering genuine Italian fare, but we’re also creating a number of jobs that can help impact the local economy,” said Amit Kleinberger, CEO and co-founder of MidiCi. “We feel confident that we will find some motivated and passionate candidates to help MidiCi make its mark on Orem.”

MidiCi is growing all across the country, with more than 400 locations slated to open within the next six years. The goal is to scale the success of the MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza flagship location, a 4,300-square-foot space in Los Angeles, which has amassed more than 1,000 rave reviews and a 4.5 out of 5-star rating on Yelp since its opening in June 2015.

MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company Orem will be located at University Place, 541 E. University Parkway, Suite B, Orem, Utah. For more information, please visit www.myMidiCi.com.

About MidiCi:

Inspired by his travels throughout Naples, co-founder Amit Kleinberger sought to bring authentic Neapolitan pizza to the U.S. as a means to share his passion for people and food. The restaurant was designed to foster authentic human connections and reflect MidiCi’s philosophy, “People are the best thing that can happen to anyone.” Pronounced Mee-Dee-Chee, MidiCi means, “You tell me!” in Italian, reflecting a double entendre at the core of the concept: the value of people telling each other about their lives, fostering friendships and the personalization approach to the authentic Neapolitan pizza.

Honoring the tradition, passion and art of Neapolitan-pizza making, the way it was invented over 300 years ago in Naples, Italy, MidiCi uses traditional wood-fired ovens, custom hand-built in Naples with an internal temperature of 850-900 degrees to bake pizzas to perfection in 90 seconds! The original MidiCi restaurant opened in Los Angeles in summer 2015. The brand forecasts opening 400 additional restaurants over the next six years in markets such as Seattle, Houston, Tampa, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, Boston and more.
