Lee Named Utah County Commission Chairman for 2017

Commissioner Bill Lee of Pleasant Grove was named chairman of the Utah County Commission for 2017 at a 3:00 pm Utah County Commission meeting on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.  Commissioner Greg Graves was elected vice chairman.

Lee sees the major issue facing the county over the next few years as one of growth.  According to Lee, “the challenge is how to maintain our quality of life as we continue to grow at such a rapid pace.”

Lee attended Brigham Young University majoring in Political Science. He has a professional business license in HVAC with over 25 years’ experience in that field. For three years’ he worked for U.S. Senator Mike Lee serving as his Deputy State Director.

Lee has served on the Utah County Commission since January 2015.
